International Scientific Conference “Ukrainian Books: Research, Reading, Preservation”

Employees of the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv took part in the International Scientific Conference “Ukrainian Books: Research, Reading, Preservation,” which was recently held at the Central Scientific Library of Karazin University.

Natalia Yakunina, head of the scientific and methodological department, spoke at the section “History and Development of Ukrainian Book Publishing – Library Research” with a report entitled “Ukrainian Books Banned by the Imperial and Soviet Authorities in the Collections of the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.”

The presentation focused on the works of Ukrainian authors who made a significant contribution to the formation of statehood, the development of national culture, and the formation of Ukrainian identity.
