MISSION OF THE MYKHAILO MAKSYMOVYCH SCIENTIFIC LIBRARY

• to provide high-quality information and analytical support for the educational process and research to strengthen and improve education and science at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;
• to be the centre of cultural life of the University Community;
• to promote the intellectual growth and creativity of students, postgraduates and teachers of the University by

  • providing access to information resources;
  • training students, postgraduates, and academic staff in the effective use and critical evaluation of information resources, as well as in working with scientometric databases for research.

We provide innovative technologies and services to make information and scientific resources conveniently available to users anytime and anywhere.

We offer well-equipped and functional physical spaces where students, postgraduates and academic staff can continue to study and research independently outside the classroom.
