Excursion to the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

On 26 June, blogger Olena Ivanchenkova and her followers visited the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for the third time.

Head of the Department of Cultural and Educational Work Olha Petrenko told the guests about the history and present of the library and demonstrated the main locations of our main building: the subscription desk for scientific literature, the main and computerised reading rooms, coworking spaces and public spaces.

The excursionists had the opportunity to visit the library’s book depository, as well as to get acquainted with the valuable editions of the Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts and the collection of works of the University’s faculty and staff.
