Day of Scientific Career Development at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
This year’s Scientific Career Development Day at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, held on 21 May on the occasion of the Day of Science in Ukraine, was marked by a new approach to the event – for the first time, the scientific fair was held in the ecology of the Exhibition Campus. The event was organised by the Council of Young Scientists together with the Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Department with the support of Rector Volodymyr Buhrov and Vice-Rector for Research Hanna Tolstanova.
The event brought together young researchers, teachers and students in the format of a scientific picnic – in a cosy outdoor atmosphere with coffee, informal communication and a rich programme of trainings, Q&A sessions, presentations and discussions on modern scientific trends.
The event was also joined by the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library, which presented its own interactive location, Knowledge Keepers, within the framework of the KNU Science Campus. Here, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the library’s modern digital services, including the activities of the Information Monitoring Service, which supports researchers in their research and information support of scientific activities.
