Radio Dictation of National Unity 2025
On 27 October 2025, on Ukrainian Writing and Language Day, the staff of the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, led by Director Marina Zhenchenko, took part in writing the Radio Dictation of National Unity 2025.
The event took place in the cosy atmosphere of the library’s computerised reading room in the Main Building 27. Our staff were joined by guests of the library.
This year’s author of the dictation, entitled ‘You Have to Live,’ was writer Yevgenia Kuznetsova, and the text was read by People’s Artist of Ukraine, actress Natalia Sumska.
Traditionally, participation in the radio dictation is not only a test of literacy, but also a demonstration of national unity and respect for the Ukrainian language.
