Become a Reader
Anyone can become a reader of the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library!

• Library services are free of charge for students, postgraduate students, and employees of the University upon registration.
• The annual fee for external users is 130 UAH.
• A single-visit library card costs 54 UAH.

Registered library users may:

• request library materials remotely;
• access the Library’s subscribed databases within the University’s local network;
• use Wi-Fi and work in the Computer Reading Room (Room 27);
• reserve library premises for classes, training sessions and events;
• request scanning services and electronic delivery of parts of books or journal articles;
• order articles and book chapters through the RapidILL interlibrary loan system;
• book individual or group consultations and training sessions on information literacy and bibliographic skills.

Personal data provided by users are treated as confidential. Such data are processed exclusively by Library staff in the course of their official duties and may be used only for historical, statistical or research purposes in anonymized form.

Library cards are strictly non-transferable.

Loss of a library card does not release the user from responsibility for borrowed library materials.

Users may search for information independently or with the assistance of the staff of the Library’s reading rooms and circulation desks.
